Sometimes, I hate being so busy!!
I completely forgot that on August 13, 2014 my most favorite band in the world was scheduled to release their new single. I didn’t remember it until today!!! Baka!
I can only say 1 thing about their new song…. I FREAKIN’ LOVE IT!!! Hontou ni daisuki. It sounds so mysterious and yet it’s still so beautiful. The first time I heard it, it gives me the chills. It might sound weird to many people but it has that old Laruku style that I feel in love with. The song delivers so many feelings, their unusual rhythm and the way Hyde sings show how they are still the L’Arc~en~Ciel I know for many years, the band that doesn’t follow the trend of music, the band that makes songs that only belong to them.
Everlasting has techno element in it but somehow I feel like listening to their classic songs.
I remember when I first heard CHASE, I felt slightly disappointed because CHASE (their previous single) sounds so much like VAMPS’ song (Hyde’s other band)…but it’s a different case with EVERLASTING, this one is so Laruku an Shieru.

My wish for now is to have their new album, their 13th album on my shelf and on my mp3 player.
….but they still haven’t mentioned when they will release their new album.

I don’t think you will like it too…it’s not an easy song to be liked. I am already too much in love with them so it’s easy to accept their new music regardless how unusual it is.

Unfortunately, my friend who just got home from Japan was unable to buy for me the CD because of baggage issues. 😦 But I’m still hoping that I’d be able to get a copy of this single.
When i fist heard the song, I loved how dark and mysterious it sounds… And then came the lyrics.
L’Arc~en~Ciel really never fails to make fans fall in love even more.

I am not interested in having the single…in fact I don’t have any Laruku single at all. I only buy their full album.
Hear hear!! No matter how they keep changing their music style but we can still hear that Laruku special sound. they keep their fans loving them more.
