2 years ago at EXACTLY this hour, I saw the best band in the universe LIVE in front of me. For 11 years I thought I will never see my MOST favorite band Live…Dream came true in May 2, 2012.

Happy 2nd Anniversary LarukuJKT
Everyone who had watched that unforgettable concert has been twitting #2yearsLarcJKT since morning. The first thing I did when Opened my eyes was twisting happy anniversary for this special day.
When it comes to L’Arc~en~Ciel, the over 30 year old me suddenly turned into a 13 year old girl…fangirling like crazy and I don’t have the slight shame of it. All I have is pride for being Laruku’s fan for 13 years and May 2, 2012 (at that time we constantly used hashtag #LarukuJKT) will forever be one of my most memorable moments in my life.
I don’t have to say much about the legendary concert as I had written so many posts about the magic of Laruku’s concert. all you have to do is click this> #LarukuJKT
I am (along with thousands of their fans in Indonesia) are still waiting to see them again…hopefully in the near future 🙂
Last year, I intentionally separated my post of 12 Years of Love and First Anniversary LarukuJKT…this year (and the years to come) I am combining them both because the concert is as important as the fact that I keep loving the same band for many years. I am not going to all the detail how I come to love them so much because I already did that last year (here). I am only going to quote these sentences from that post:
Time seemed to lose its power on the love I have toward Laruku because it has been
12 years13 years now and I still love them as much as I was in 2001…even more after I saw them LIVE.I know that the main reason why I – then, now and most likely forever – love them is because they keep changing their music style without loosing their signature sound…they evolve but they are still who they are. Their music is theirs and they haven’t made bad songs. I love ALL their songs and that’s why I can’t make top 5 or 10 or even 100 out of their songs.
13 years of loving Laruku an Shieru (that’s how the Japanese read L’Arc~en~Ciel)…and yet it hasn’t faltered even just a bit.
I am going to use this celebration post to share some great news from Laruku 🙂
On March 21 and 22, L’Arc~en~ciel held a huge concert in Tokyo National Stadium (one of Japan’s biggest arena). I wish I could be there but it was impossible…however, I am still glad they did that concert because we are all hoping for a new album. They have had their break too long (in my opinion). The concert was amazing (from what I see in the news and some footage in youtube)
At min 2:24 they introduced their next single called Everlasting. I like it already, it sounds like a dark song. The new song will be on Sale in August 13, 2014, here’s the news on their official site:
New Song “EVERLASTING” details revealed!

I can’t wait!! I miss listening to their new songs…they always give something new to offer.
The other thing that I am eagerly waiting is their documentary on their World Tour as stated in their official site:
The inimitable world tour that brought together 10 countries and 14 cities! See documentary that’s become a feature film!
“DOCUMENTARY FILMS ~WORLD TOUR 2012~”
Coming to Japan and beyond, December 2014!
Although…to be honest I am also a bit scared that they might share my crying face during the performance of Hitomi no Juunin and Anata. Hopefully NO, I am not ashamed that I cried listening to them but I am ashamed of how bad my appearance was at that time.
I am so happy with those two news … however the one news that will make me even happier would be a news of them releasing their 13th album 🙂
I will close this post with their latest photo and a video of their latest performance.
Thanks for sharing your L’arc`~en~Ciel love!! I always miss seeing them by a week or two (last year it was Hyde in Boston :P) It’s hard to get some people to like International music but music is music regardless. Hope you get to see them again and I can’t wait to hear about their new stuff. Stay Awesome!

Hi Jackie 🙂
thank you for reading and reblogging. I completely agree with you…music is music regardless the language. I have seen Hyde twice, in Laruku and in Vamps…but him in Larc is the one I really want to see again and again.
Reblogged this on The Pennington Underground : An International Music Blog and commented:

I get such a kick out of your enthusiasm.

To me they look like they are in their early 30’s
Agree…makes everyone wonder what’s their secret 😉
