3 Hot Flashes – What Should Martha Do?

Previous story: Little Black Book, Disturbed Memory, Reality or Imagination.

Martha went through all the articles about missing and murdered girls.  Terrified but still hoping for the best. What she found broke her heart into thousands pieces. She printed all the articles and hid it under her stock in the basement. “What should I do?” she thought.

Flash in The Pan is hosted by Red at Mommy’s Money Matter.

I am currently busy with my school’s exam (teacher’s most busiest days), but I will try to keep up with my flash.

You can see all the flashes at Red’s Blog.

The bold ones mean that I have made a story out of that word.

      Thank you, Red 🙂

Yeah, I changed it from 9 to 8. Sorry to cause you extra work.

No, did you change it here on your pages? I could only read them because I knew what the links were.

oh no…I meant on the email, I gave you the link for dec 9 but I published on 8 🙂

The url for the pages is changed because wordpress has the feature to make pages in one post

I can see why a diary like that would cause nightmares.

Hey, when I click on page 2 I get a 404 – Not Found Error message.

BTW, this counts as a serial now, even without page 2.

That’s the message I want to deliver, how Martha couldn’t sleep well after finding the book…I am glad you got it 🙂

I have fixed the problem…I put the wrong link there. Thank you for letting me know the link didn’t work.

Does that mean I can link it to your The Serialists? but it’s just a flash not a short

Oooohhh!! Looks like her son is really creepy…. 😉

    But…. D’ohhh!! I can’t read page 2 either… I get a “404 Error – Not found” page instead. I think your link is broken. 😦

      December 10, 2012

Actually, without the link, you can still see page 2, the original link from WP is under the like button, but it was very small, like this>> Pages: 1 2 3.
So small and people often didn’t notice so I put the link again on the post. I have fixed the problem and hope you can read it now, Miyuki 🙂

Well, she found a horrible diary…but I bet every mother will doubt it first but still has nightmare about it.

That is a horrible thing for Martha to discover!!… I feel so bad for her to know that the son she loves is a monster. I know that she will be in misery until she can decide what to do. I think the next short story will be very interesting indeed, Novia! 😉

Brrrr!!! The creepy things your lil’ mind thinks up!! 😉

          Thank you Miyuki 🙂
Maybe one day I can turn this into a real long novella 😉

😀 I don’t know why it’s easier to come up with creepy stories than romance, probably the effect of watching too much horror and thriller since I was a kid 😉

Creepy, creepy. May I correct something? Sweet is sweat in flash one and pigment should be figment in flash two. Please tell me if I shouldn’t say anything anymore and I will shut up. 🙂

oh thank you for seeing those mistakes…I guess that’s why writers need editors, I didn’t spot those mistakes at all!

will fix it once I get home from work 🙂

Slick! I like how you your flashes carry a continuous thread with Martha as your main character.

      Thank you Tess 🙂
I am trying to give a conclusion to what happened after Martha found out the truth about her son
