Note: EΔͺd ul-Fitr (Idhul Fitri in Indonesian Language) is a special day for Muslim, we had done a month of Fasting (fortunately, my turtles don’t do fasting π ) and now it’s time for a celebration and forgiveness. On this day, we look back at everything we had done and hope for everyone to forgive all our wrong doing and we to forgive yours so that we can start another day with pure heart.

Not the same Novroz and I don’t wish for anyone to have Eid far from their friends and families. When I was in Malaysia it was merry but over here it is just our small little family unit, π¦ One day, one day I will be back home, for good. π

I bet Turkey is as merry as my country π We visit our relatives here.
It is sad knowing that in some parts of the world, Muslims aren’t as happy and peaceful as we are, but I know they are still loved by Allah and still feel the blessing of Eid.
It’s good to look back and ask for forgiveness it will help to not make the same mistakes twice or hurt people again, I think. Many blessings to you.
We are only human…we bound to make the same mistakes again…it’s inevitable but at least we tried to forgive each other.

Muslims in my country also celebrate Ramadan currently. I don’t think I approve of not drinking and eating all day long, especially during extreme summer heat, but I respect their choice. I hear they eat lovely low calorie food when the sun sets π
We are so used with not eating and drinking even at extreme heat, the problems are never in the hunger or thirst, it’s always in sleepiness…at least for me, all I want to do is sleep π
Hehehe…here in Indonesia, we eat high calories food to break our fasting, always with sweet food.
that’s the point, Novia, hunger and thirst exhaust your body and make it sleepy, that is how your organism tries to save energy – by going into drowsiness. Do kids also have to fast?
Not when I am working, it only happens while I am at home.
Kids don’t have obligation to do it but they still do it as a way to practice….but usually only half day till they are strong enough to do it full day. I did a full day fasting since I was 7 years old.
That sounds like a good idea. I can’t think of anything that needs forgiveness (except for TracFone and I’m not ready to let that go yet) but if I think of anything, I’ll forgive it.
Ah…your problem with tracfone is indeed troublesome and quite hard to forgive. Just try finding the bright side…if there is any
