Teaser Tuesday -Shame In The Blood

Teaser Tuesday is a fun bookish meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Everyone can play along, all you have to do is simply take the book you are currently reading. And then share 2 ‘teaser’ sentences from any page in the book. I often share more than 2 sentences ;)

Please avoid SPOILER!!

I am currently reading Tetsuo Miura’s Shame in the Blood, a book about feeling ashamed that his family blood is full of  suicide and irresponsible acts.

My teaser is from page 51

To me, it all came down to blood. My suspicion was that the very blood that linked us all could itself be tainted. And the most frightening thing was the inevitable reality that the tainted blood of my siblings also ran through my veins.
