Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
I am currently reading a collection of short stories by Naoya Shiga called The Paper Door. I have just finished reading this book.
My teaser comes from page 136, a short story called Kuniko.
What were Kuniko’s emotions when she killed herself? That is what I’ve thought about. I am utterly unable to grasp what they were.
Oh my that is dark, she is family is that why she is wondering?
My Teaser Tuesday
The one who is wondering is Kuniko’s husband
Interesting teaser. Did she even have any emotions at all?
Her emotion is the reason she killed herself
Perfect teaser, it left me wanting to know more. How did you like the book? My TT: http://www.rundpinne.com/2011/01/teaser-tuesdays-mohr.html
It was okay. I am going to write my review tomorrow or the day after tomorrow
Oh, I can relate…sometimes my mind carries me into dark corners, too.

My teaser this week is for:
Forget-Her-Nots by Amy Brecount White which is on sale right not for only 5.19 on Amazon for new hardback!!!! I figure I should spread the word since it is such a popular YA book and the author is so nice. I have the link up if you want to check it out!
Sincerely,
Emma Michaels
