Teaser Tuesday – The Return of The King

undefined

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  1. Grab your current read
  2. Open to a random page
  3. Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  4. BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  5. Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Although the original plan is to read one book of The Lord of the Rings each year, starting from The Fellowship of the Ring last year, The Two Towers this year and The Return of The King next year…but the plan just changed. The last chapter of  The Two Towers really makes me eager to know what happen next. So, this week I read The Return of The King.

My teaser is from page 114

“Hinder me? Thou fool. No living man may hinder me!”

“But no man am I! You look upon a woman. Éowyn I am, Éomund’s daughter. You stand between me and my lord and kin. Begone, if you be not deathless!  For living or dark undead, I will smite you, if you touch him.”
