Wrapping up R.I.P. Challenge V

October 31st is the perfect date to wrap this great challenge up…apart from the fact that the challenge is over at this date. This is my third wrap-up post, which means that I have completed 3 challenges \(^_^)/

R.I.P. Challenge stands for R.eaders I.mbibing P.eril Challenge. Carl  of Stainless Steel Droppings challenged us to read Mystery/ Suspense/ Thriller/ Dark Fantasy/ Gothic/ Horror/ Supernatural books. I have written my introduction post along with the list of books I was going to read. Just like the other challenges I’m joining in this year, the 1st list is never the same with the books I finally read. My first list of books is written in my introduction to start this challenge.

All these books and movies are shared along with other great reviews in here

Peril the first, where we supposed to read 4 books, but I end up reading 5 books

  1. The Road by Cormac McCarthy
  2. Cujo by Stephen King
  3. Shadow Family by Miyuki Miyabe
  4. The Tokyo Zodiac Murders by Soji Shimada
  5. The Manhattan Hunt Club by John Saul

Peril the second, where we supposed to read 2 books, but I’m going to use this category for my manga review. I read 3 Manga for this.

  1. Onryo no Densetsu (The legend of the scroll paintings) by Chie Watari
  2. Onigami no Sumuei (The Secret Forest) by Chie Watari
  3. Doubt by Yoshiki Tonogai

Peril on Screen

  1. Across The World. I watched and reviewed 4 movies from different countries that have elements of Mystery, Suspense and thriller, they are: Pandemic, Ondine, Mother, The Fourth Kind
  2. The Silent City. I found a great Short Film about war staring my most favorite actor.
  3. Moon Child. A vampire/gangster movie from Japan.

It’s been a great challenge…thank you Carl 🙂

I was very late in joining this challenge, but I can assure you that I’ll be joining in again next year.

  1. I somehow didn’t manage to do a wrap up. Yeah well, I think I didn’t do to bad either. I read much more than I wanted in the end. Think it was a fun challenge. By the way, I really like the new look of your blog.

    1. I always try to wrap my challenge because it’s easier to see how many book have I read. I will also wrap all the books I have read this year. Been doing that since last year, inspired by another blogger.

Yeah I can see that you’ve read quite a lot, and I am putting Susan Hill on my to-search list.

Thanks 🙂 The background is going to be changed, I’m still looking for the right picture for background n header.

Say something so I know you have read my post, THANK YOU for reading :)
