BTT: for the first time again

What book would you love to be able to read again for the first time?

Wow this question is easy!!! I love it

There are a lot of books that I would love to read it again as if it was the first time. Mostly the books that I find amazing or at least I really like it.

First there are 2 books from Stephen King. I would love to read Insomnia again. I read it long time ago and it blew my mind and made me a devoted fans of Stephen King. the truth is I have forgotten most of the details in this book, I wish I can find and then buy the book (I borrowed it long time ago) my self…I’m pretty much sure it will fell like the first time again. Then there is Green Mile, I find this book amazing…It really touched me. I read it twice but the second time is not as blowing as the first one, that’s why I want to be able to read it again as if it was the first time.

And then there is the amazing Lord of The Rings, I’ve read it 3 times…but the second and third time took me longer to finish it. The first time I read it, i couldn’t stop reading it and totally in to the book…I wanna have that feeling again.

And from Indonesia, my country, I sure would love to read Laskar Pelangi (rainbow troop) for the first time again…and again. The book really touches my heart as a teacher…it lifted my spirit.

I’m sure there are more…but those 4 are all I can think right now. Only Insomnia is the book that I’ve only read once due to the fact I don’t own the book.

The 1st time reading every great books is always an amazing feeling.

so how bout you ? 🙂

  1. I think my very first Stephen King book is Carrie, and the movie is simply terrific!

I’ve not read LOTR, but the movies are excellent!

I haven’t read Carrie yet 😦 but I agree on the movie 🙂

Well LOTR’s movie is the best adapted movie I have ever seen

  2. I haven’t read any stephen King or lord of the rings since I was young, so I think they would be like first time reads for me anyway. I would like to re-read lord of the rings

  3. My first SK book was The Shining.

hiks…I haven’t read The Shinning…it’s so hard finding that book here in my country

  4. Insomnia has got to be one of my favorite Stephen King books ever. I’ve read it a couple times over the years. I have forgotten details here and there too, so I’m sure the next time I read, it will feel new again too.

  5. I don’t think I’ve read any S. King. Need to change that!

    Thx for visiting 🙂

there’s something wrong with your blog, I can’t open it 😦

Yes!! do try S.King, but don’t get your hope high coz maybe it’s not your gender

  6. Books that have surprise ending or a twist would be refreshing to me. I also read my favorite books, like Name of the Rose and The Master and Margarita.

  7. I’m a bit embarrassed to say that I have never read LOTR(but I’m planning to read it sometime). I’m to easily scared to read anything by Steven King(I can possibly read The Shawshank Redemption but not the horror books I think).

    Here is my book.

    Novroz’ Answer
Do read LOTR!! it’s the best series I’ve ever read

  8. Like with LOTR, I like the idea of reading any favorite series again for the first time. Maybe Harry Potter or the Mary Russell books by Laurie King. Or Trollope Barsetshire or Palliser novels.

  9. I’ve only just finished The Other Hand by Chris Cleave and I’d love to read it again for the first time. I heartily recommend it. Visit my blog to see why… (I’m not the author or related to the author, I promise! I just like finding a gem) Happy reading!

Say something so I know you have read my post, THANK YOU for reading :)
