Live Report: L’Arc~en~Ciel Live at Singapore (April 28, 2012) – a Guest Post

Did you know that I almost went to Singapore?

When I first heard that L’Arc~en~Ciel was going to play at Singapore, I couldn’t stay still and going. They are going to so close…and it’ll kill me if I don’t go…but then the wonderful news came out, they are also going to play in Jakarta…so the plan to go to Singapore never happened. However, I am now saving some money so that when they decide to do another world tour, I can go to countries near Indonesia so that I can see them more then once.

Let’s put my story aside for now

A nice girl from Malaysia went to Singapore because L’Arc didn’t visit Malaysia. Her name is Ilina Syazwani Musa or known as tkbluestorm in this blog of mine. She is one of Laruku’s fans I met here in the internet world

The Goodies Booth

We arrived in Singapore in the afternoon. Then, we went to stadium and met some our Malaysian friends around 5.00 pm. Initially, I only wanted to buy the premium package and lightstick, but when I saw my friends bought other merchandises, I also bought the things that I didn’t planned. But I never regretted it. In fact, I think I should bring more money because I never knew they would sell cd and dvd at the entrance of the arena. The concert merchandise you can buy them even you didn’t have the ticket from the booth which is located outside the stadium, but the cd and dvd, you only find them after you entered the stadium. I’m not sure about it in Jakarta. I hope they also sell the albums there.

Things Around The Most Amazing Concert In My Life (L’Arc~en~Ciel – May 2nd, 2012)

This is going to be the last post on my L’Arc~en~Ciel Week

The after effect is scary…right now, even after 6 days, I still feel like the concert is still playing in front of my eyes. I am like a girl who finally met her long lost boyfriend but the meeting was only for 2 hours and now he left her again…

The longing to see them again is painful…can’t wait to see them again here

At first I wanted to write it in both English and Indonesian…but I don’t have much time to do it…so I chose to write it in English.

I am SOOOO happy that this high expectation of mine was totally paid off. They DID NOT disappointed me at all. Thank you L’Arc~en~Ciel for being a part of my life and for creating beautiful rainbow to fill my daily life.

I and lots of Indonesian cielers feel the same as I am, it is so hard to move on…we feel like part of our mind and soul are still there at Senayan … singing and dancing along with Hyde, Tetsuya, Yuki and Ken. You might think that it’s so stupid and silly but that is exactly how I feel. The memory of May 2nd implanted so deep in my heart that walking away from it feels like a burden.

…but, I know life must go on and that’s why this post is written

This amazing ride started on November 26th, 2011 when Live Viewing Japan chose us to be one of few countries to play 20th L’Anniversary concert…at that time I wrote it as One Step Closer to a 10 Year Dream. Then on January 2012…It came true!!! They announced Jakarta as one of their destinations during World Tour 2012…for the first time in my life, I believe in that famous sentence: Dreams Do Come True

IT WAS THE MOST AMAZING CONCERT I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!

Gw dah sering bilang kalo dulu cuma suka sama Muse tapi jadi cinta setelah liat mereka konser…tapi L’Arc~en~Ciel adalah band yang gw cintai lebih dari semua band yang ada di dunia ini bahkan sebelum gw liat konser mereka…dan sekarang setelah liat….GUE MAKIN CINTA SAMA MEREKA!!

Buat gw, mereka akan selalu menjadi band TERHEBAT diantara semua band di dunia ini dan akan menjadi band TERFAVORIT gw sepanjang masa.

Aduh…bingung rasanya mau mulai darimana, semua masih terasa bagaikan mimpi indah yang tidak ingin berakhir…konsernya LUAR BIASA!!! TAK BISA DIUNGKAPKAN DENGAN KATA-KATA2…dan lebih kerennya lagi … GW DAPAT APA YANG GW INGINKAN!!! GW ADA DI BARISAN DEPAN NEMPEL SAMA PEMBATAS …GYAAAAAAA…. MEREKA DEKAT BUANGET!!!!

Gw cuma 2 meteran dr Hyde, sayangnya dr Yuki ttp aja jauh

Hyde itu luar biasa cantiknya!!! sumpah deh gw ga pernah liat cowok secantik dia dan bahkan lebih cantik dr kebanyakan cewek yang pernah gw liat. Udah cantik suaranya juga merdu bgt….dan itu bajunya ya!!! gyaaaa gw langsung teriak begitu chikubinya terlihat….gyaaa fangirl mode on!!

Dan YUKI…aaaaaaaa Yukiiiii!!! Luar biasa guanteng…aaaaaa gw pengen teriak teriak mulu tiap liat Yuki. Aduh itu bisep bikin gw mau pingsan!! kalo kedengaran teriakan cempreng “Yuki Daisuki” itu gw yang teriak hahaha.

Tetchan putiiiih banget deh, kayaknya dia yang paling putih…sampai kemerahan gitu. Senangnya liat dia sering mampir-mampir ke depan gw walaupun gw lebih berada di depan Hyde. Sayangnya gw ga bisa banyak liat Ken karena gw emang lebih kesisi Tetchan drpd Ken.

Tapi…jelas perhatian gw terfokus pada Hyde dan Yuki

Karena sudah menanti selama 11 tahun, gw ga pengen ngabisin waktu gw dengan moto dan ngerekam. Gw nikmati setiap detiknya dengan mata kepala ini dan merekamnya selamanya di otak. Karena itu, gw pake foto2 dari internet aja

IT WAS THE MOST AMAZING CONCERT I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!   

I often said that I like Muse but then I love Muse after I saw their concert…but L’Arc~en~Ciel is the band I have already loved with all my heart even before I saw the concert…and now that I have seen their concert…I LOVE THEM BEYOND WORDS!!

They will always be the best band in the whole wide world for me

Ow…I don’t know where to begin, I still feel like I am in a dream…a dream that I wish never to stop…the concert was SUPER AMAZING!!!  And to top it all…I GOT WHAT I WANT!!! I WAS THERE RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE STAGE, CLINGING TO THE BARRIER…. GYAAAAAAAAAAA… they were so f*ckin close!!!

I stand about 2 meters from Hyde!!! Gyaaaaa, it was unbelievable!! He is even more beautiful in real life…ow my God, how could You create the prettiest man alive to have such beautiful voice? He is prettier than most woman I have seen!! And right behind Hyde is Yuki….aaaaaaaaaahhhh!!! Yuki is incredibly handsome, and those biceps…oh my God, I am speechless! Ken is enjoying the concert despite of the heat. Ken is always Ken! Techan also often stood so close to me, ow he is sooooo cute!!! But…my attention was mostly toward Yuki and Hyde

Because I have been waiting for them for 11 years, I don’t feel like taking any photo and video of their live, I want to enjoy every minute second of the concert with my own eyes and ears, I didn’t want to be distract by taking my mobile and shot the concert. They won’t allow camera but even if there was no such rule, I still had no intention to take pictures…therefore I am relying on the internet to provide me with photos

By the time I posted this, the concert is only … hours away

I am crazy with anticipation. I can’t even say much here!! I am lost for words…all I want to do is dream about tomorrow…the day where I can finally admit that DREAMS DO COME TRUE.

Today we changed our ticket voucher into real ticket…my friends and I were super excited.

Here’s the situation on Raja Karcis, where we changed our voucher with real ticket:

Because I have VIP Package, I received one towel and one ID card that I can keep forever…and of course a place to stand so damn close to the stage

Akhirnya…Sabtu pun tiba, saat postingan ini diterbitkan waktu menunjukkan 4 hari 20 jam menjelang konser yang paling gw tunggu2 selama 11 tahun.

Mulai hari ini sampai sabtu depan gw akan menulis HANYA tentang L’Arc~en~Ciel dan dalam 2 bahasa (kecuali tulisan 5 alasan kenapa gw ngefans gila sama Larc, itu Cuma English aja)…alasannya sederhana aja, karena ada teman2 gw yang ga bias bahasa Indonesia dan senang membaca apapun yang gw tulis. Gw dah coba liat pake google translate ternyata tulisan ini jadi ga berjiwa gw setelah lewat google…jadilah gw sedikit merelakan waktu untuk menulis 2 kali…hitung2 memberitahukan dunia betapa gilanya fans Laruku di Indonesia

Kita lanjut ke pokok postingan ini

Beberapa hari belakangan ini…eh mungkin malah beberapa minggu belakangan ini, gw yang jarang FBan tiba2 jadi rajin banget…dan tempat yang dituju tak lain dan tak bukan adalah L’Arc~en~Ciel Indonesia … tempat dimana ribuan pengemar L’Arc~en~Ciel berkumpul. Biasanya gw cuma memantau aja ada info2 apa tapi semakin dekat hari bersejarah yang gw tunggu2 semakin ingin rasanya berkomunikasi dengan ribuan orang2 yang sama gilanya dgn gw itu.

Kegilaan mereka, termasuk gw, mungkin akan dipandang berlebihan oleh orang2 yang ga ngerti rasanya menunggu selama ini…penuh harap setiap ada gossip Laruku bakal datang … bahkan gw dah sampai pada titik dimana gw dah ga percaya lagi semua gossip mereka bakal dating… sampai hari itu datang, hari dimana L’Arc~en~Ciel mengumumkan kedatangan mereka ke Jakarta.

Konser Laruku ini bagaikan sebuah festival meriah … gw ga pernah merasakan aura mau nonton konser seperti yang gw rasakan sekarang. Ini bukan sekedar menunggu konser dimulai…ini sebuah Festival besar2an yang mencakup seluruh Indonesia.

It is 19 days to the concert I have been waiting for 11 years, the only band I want to see more than all the bands in the world combine into one….yes I love them THAT MUCH!!

As the historical day comes closer, although not fast enough, I have to publish this important post, a post where I share their setlist in every city they performed for their 20th L’Anniversary World Tour. I share the list after the summary and my expectation of songs to be sung on May 2nd.

Judging from the lists below, here are the songs to be expected in Jakarta (because they were sung in every concert): 01. いばらの涙 02. CHASE 03. GOOD LUCK MY WAY 04. HONEY 05. DRINK IT DOWN 06. As you can see, there are 14 songs they always sang in every concert. I have no complain to that list because I like them all (Well…I love ALL their songs). I am glad Revelation always in their list…I really really really want to hear that song and feel the energy when we all can shout ‘hey…hey..hey..‘ and ‘REVELATION‘… I love how great energy that come through that song during all their live show.

Live Viewing Part 2: Final 20th L’Anniversary in Kyocera Stadium, Osaka

L’Arc~en~Ciel 2nd Live Viewing was FREAKING AWESOME!!!

This is the second Live Viewing held in Jakarta, I have written my post of the first Live Viewing in Indonesian Language (Silakan baca disini pandangan mata saya di Live Viewing pertama), tonight, I decided to use English to write my report of the second Live Viewing. I have informed about this live viewing in my previous post about Laruku.

As you can see in my sticky post and on the right widget, my number one band in the world, the only band I have loved so damn much for the past 11 years is about to come to my country (although I am a bit worried with the situation in Indonesia…Dear God, please don’t let anything happen that can cancel my only chance to see them LIVE). Before their concert, they kindly let us see their concert in Osaka which they broadcasted (Live Screening) in Korea and other countries. When I heard about this second Live Viewing, I was so happy and determined to see it no matter what. This concert has not been released in DVD yet and I don’t know whether they will ever release it or not. Unfortunately, not many seemed to know this fact because this second Live Viewing was not as full book as the first one.

The cinema might not be as crowded as before but the audiences were crazier than before …and that included me I couldn’t stop dancing and jumping and singing along all through the show which was about 2,5 hours.
