Previous Chapter: The Castle.
We have lived in this house for a couple of weeks now. We, surprisingly, had already tidied up all our stuffs. When we moved to the house we have just left, we needed over a month to tidy up everything even though there were four of us back then. I guessed the tidying up sort of made Mom, and us I supposed, able to forget the fact that Dad wasn’t with us anymore.
Mom was right when she said that our new house was bigger than the old one. My room was twice bigger than before. There were a wooden cabinet and a bed left by the previous owner. We kept the cabinet but got rid of the bed. Mom thought that the cabinet looked antique and still in good condition, so she decided to keep it where it was. The bed, on the other hand, already looked very old and Mom didn’t like the look of it. She changed it with my own bed.
The cabinet was empty and clean, the previous owner was kind enough to not leave any junk in it. It had four rooms and two drawers on the bottom. I put my clothes on the four rooms and used the drawers to put my other stuffs. The cabinet was dark brown and didn’t have many craving. I thought the cabinet was really good and I wondered why they left it. Mom said maybe it was too bothersome to bring along. I thought it was not a good reason considering the house was empty except for the cabinet and the bed in my room.
A good house with mysteries, I thought, or maybe I was just imagining things. I was full of imagination, she said, and it came from my dad’s side.
“Mia. What are you doing?” Mom caught me staring at the cabinet, “I told you to get ready half an hour ago!”
“I am still thinking which shirt to wear.”
“Just wear anything! You have ten minutes young lady!” Read more of this post

First of all…This is not a pure Star Trek review!! This post is more about me rambling on about Benny than about Star Trek because this is the first time I got to see him in the big screen *swoon*
Out of all the actors I like, I think there are ONLY two actors that I admire for both their talent and their look, although not in the same level, they are, OF COURSE, Cillian Murphy and then Benedict Cumberbatch.
I like a lot of actors but not in the same way as these two. Take example of Sharlto Copley, I will watch every movie he is in it BUT he is hardly the type that makes me want to bite my fingers because he is too good looking. I also like Christian Bale with his amazing acting ability but he is also not going to make me gaga over his look. And then there is Keanu reeves, love seeing him but not the way he acts. What I am trying to say is, Both Cillian and Benny are the only actors that can mesmerized me with their acting ability and also their charming persona…However, Benny is still way behind my dearest Cillian (Sorry Ben, that Irishman is difficult to replace)
Benny has amazed me in Sherlock. And when I started collecting ALL his TV shows and Movies, he amazed me even more. I love his performance as young Stephen Hawking and he was so believable as British youngest prime minister in Amazing Grace and the annoying self conscious geek in Starter for 10. I guess all Benny’s fans should always be grateful to the people who had cast him as Sherlock because that show has shown us a hidden gem. Read more of this post

I am not sure when was the first time I heard Gaiman’s name but I do remember the first review I read, it was Graveyard Book in both TBM’s blog (50 Years Project) and Caroline’s blog (Beauty is a Sleeping Cat). They were having a readalong. I really enjoyed their review/discussion but still at that point even though I am curious but NOT curious enough.
And then I was quite surprise to find his name as the writer of The Doctor’s Wife, Doctor Who’s Series 6 episode 4. His episode was really good. I like the connection he made between The Doctor and his TARDIS. Upon seeing that, I became more curious on Neil Gaiman…or as Alice would say curiouser and curiouser. Neil Gaiman also writes last week’s episode of Doctor Who called Nightmare in Silver (Haven’t seen it yet)
Then I asked someone who also loves Stephen King as much as I am whether he has ever read Gaiman’s book and he told me that Gaiman is one of his favorite authors.
So…I finally bought American Gods (will read it after I finished my Stephen King’s book) and found 2 movies based on his books…in short, 1 one them blew my mind while the other was just a fun watch. Read more of this post

Karen loved her café. Her grandma had made it so comfy, it felt like a warm old kitchen. Her modern mom wanted to change this place into a fancy restaurant where people can buy expensive small dishes. She fought hard to keep it as her grandma had left it.
“You see how empty this place looks like,” she used to say, “What people want to eat in a place without a single Tablecloth”. Karen thought that the marble pattern looked better than any tablecloths. And it was not always empty, the regular always came back with smile on their face.
Total: 100 words for Tablecloth (100) Read more of this post
Something unexpected happened yesterday.
Last week I was accepted in a new school, an international school and I have to be a full-time teacher there. I was only planning to find a part-time teacher job as I am currently already teaching in a pharmacy school. But the new school has no part-time teacher policy…all teachers have to be a full-timer. When they don’t have class to teach they still have to stay at school doing whatever teachers should do.
They also appointed me to upgrade the laboratory to fit high school quality. This new school will open class for high school on July (new school year). The already have kindergarten, elementary and junior high.
Getting accepted there means I have to say good bye to my students in pharmacy high school.
Yesterday, I told the eleventh graders (I am their home room teacher) that I won’t be teaching there again next school year. I told them that it’s a hard decision but let’s be reasonable, I can’t afford my life with the salary from this school as I have quit from my other job. (my other job)
Maybe it doesn’t sound professional telling them I am leaving because of the salary…but I have to tell them the truth because my leaving is not because of them at all.
I didn’t expect to see any of them to start crying because of my announcement, I know they will be sad…but not crying.

It’s been a while since I wrote a new post here, the last post was on Thursday.
I was actually planning to write a birthday post for Julian Barratt on May 2nd but I got soooo busy and unable to do it. So I am just going to say it today
Hope you have A healthy and long life…and start writing Boosh again
Today, I want to share 5 movies and 1 TV series…like I said above, I was/am a bit busy so I choose to write these interesting viewings in short review.
Run Fat Boy Run (2007)
Director: David Schwimmer
Cast: Simon Pegg, Thandie Newton, Hank Azaria, Dylan Moran, Harish Patel, Matthew Fenton
Run Fat Boy Run is a fun movie about a man trying to show the woman he loves that he can change. Dennis Doyle (Simon Pegg) ran away on his wedding day because he felt that he was unworthy for her. He came to regret that but she had already had new boyfriend now. Doyle wanted to prove to her that he had changed and willing to do charity marathon to show his determination.
RFBR is really funny but the story is rather typical. There are many movies like this and that makes the movie a bit forgettable. I really like the comedy in this one, I had great fun watching it…but I wouldn’t call it great movie.

Today a year ago: The band that I love the most for the past 12 years held an unforgettable concert in my country. A year ago, I have been waiting for them for 11 years.
Today is a very special day for all L’Arc~en~Ciel fans in Indonesia…for us, May 2nd will forever be Laruku Day…the day where the dream of thousands of their fans in Indonesia came true.
Here is EVERYthing I have written last year:
- Dreams Do Come True -My Number 1 Favorite Band is Coming
- I got The VIP Ticket \(^^)/
- Fast Ticketing, New Album and Another Live Viewing
- Songs to be expected at the concert on may 2nd
- Crazy Excitement Toward L’Arc~en~Ciel Concert on May 2
- 20 Hours to The Most Historical Concert in My Life (L’Arc~en~Ciel Concert)
- Things Around The Most Amazing Concert in My Life
- Laruku’s Concert Is Finally Over – We Will wait For Your Return
- Jakarta at NHK BSプレミアム & The First L’Arc~en~Ciel’s DVD in Indonesia
Because today is Thursday, so I think the best way to celebrate May 2nd is to share a random list of me and the most amazing concert I have ever seen in my entire life.
In case you come here from Thursday Thirteen: L’Arc~en~Ciel is a rock band from Japan that I love more than ALL the bands in the world, past present and future.
I LITERALLY cried when I found out that Laruku (shorter way to say L’Arc~en~Ciel) has announced Jakarta as one of the city they will visit on their World Tour.
>> I cried because for the past 11 years I thought they would never come to my country as the promoter always brought western bands, never an Asian band. It was a tear of happiness.
I was in the middle of a meeting with my former boss when my friend texted me that she had bought the ticket for VIP class. When I read that, I couldn’t hear what my boss was talking about and she let me had a moment of joy before continuing the meeting. Read more of this post
