Saturday…at last By the time this post is publish, the concert I have been waiting for for the past 11 years is about to start within 4 days, 20 hours.
Staring from this Saturday till the next Saturday I will ONLY write about L’Arc~en~Ciel. I will write it in 2 languages (except for 5 reasons why I love Laruku…soon)…the reason is quite simple, because I have friends who don’t understand Indonesian language. I have tried google translate to read my Indonesian post and the result was not satisfying, it has no soul…it wasn’t the way I wanted it to be delivered…hence I do this writing twice. Let’s just consider it as a way to share the craziness of Laruku’s fans in Indonesia
Let’s move on to the real business here
These past few days…or more likely these past few weeks, I have been very intense visiting L’Arc~en~Ciel Indonesia, facebook group where thousands of Indonesian L’Arc~en~Ciel fans are gathering to share their love toward this amazing band from Japan. Usually, I only read what was going on there but as the day of the concert draws nearer, the urge to share and talk with fellow crazy people like me has multiplied to uncountable multiplication
Their craziness, including my own craziness, might be perceived by other as something exaggerate … but those people have NO IDEA how the waiting has been killing us inside. There was always rumours about them coming to Indonesia but I had reached to a point where I no longer believed those rumours…until that day L’Arc~en~Ciel announced their coming to my country, Indonesia.
Laruku’s upcoming concert feels like merry festival. I have never felt this kind of anticipation atmosphere toward a concert like this before. It is not just about waiting for a concert…it has turned into a huge festival involving Cielers around Indonesia.
Why does it feel like a festival?
Because everyone are overjoyed over little things that are being ignored by others.
These past few days, here are the excitement that happens among us, Indonesian Cielers.
Excessive joy upon seeing L’Arc~en~Ciel Billboard
Everyone is swept with excitement and starts taking pictures of Billboard near them. I couldn’t even read book anymore because my eyes were busy looking for those billboards. I finally found one near my home (I am still searching whenever I pass through street I don’t usually take). I took my camera and took the picture despite the strange look on people’s face…they were wondering why I took a picture of that silly billboard
Today at 4pm…a bunch of us, people who have no shame or whatsoever, are going to embarrassed ourselves by taking photo in front of that billboard. We are going to walk to that fly over and do some pose with that big billboard as our background. I will upload the photo later
These are photos of Laruku’s billboard across Indonesia.

Excessive joy upon seeing the concert TV ads.
The first time it was shown was late at night and many were immediately sitting in front of their television set just to see that 18 seconds ads. That was the most intense 15 seconds of my life.
Joy upon seeing small poster in a comedy TVshow
