This is my 500th article…yeaaaaa….. \(^_^)/

I finally reach my 1st goal!!!

For this special post, I am going to summarize my blog

My 1st time blogging was on blogdrive.com BUT the content is too difficult to use and it didn’t have the things I am looking for from a blog. It started in 2005. The address of my 1st blog is http://butterflysleep.blogdrive.com . I chose that name because I really like Butterfly sleep (a song by Larc en Ciel). The 1st intention to make blog was because I wanted to write about Laruku …. From time to time, this blog is not only writing about Laruku. When I finally fell in love with Muse, this blog became LarcMuseHolic. I didn’t write as much as now because in 2005, there was no internet in my school and I have to go to internet rental to update my blog. But there is still something missing from my blog. I wanted my blog to have categories!

My friend suggested wordpress to me…and voila I found what I have been looking for \(^_^)/. I chose a more neutral address than before…because it contains things in my life, so I choose bokunosekai (My World in Japanese) as my domain.

The minus point of using wordpress is the lack of theme…I mean WP has some cute themes but I wish I can create my own lay out without troubling with CSS…but I can live with that

So far, I’ve use 2 themes (I use a lot of themes but these two is the longest one I’ve been using). 1st was this theme:

To tell you the truth, I am still not 100% satisfied with this one…but it’ll do just fine for a while

As an amateur writer, I treasured all my writing…and therefore it took quite some times for me to move all the articles in butterflysleep to wordpress. I did it whenever I had time to move it. At that time, I usually used library’s computer. I finally finished my moving out when my school made teacher’s computer laboratory.

What am I writing so far?

At first, larc en ciel in the main focus of my blog…then came muse. Then, stories of my students filled my blog…I like writing about them (I haven’t written anything on 67 students yet)…alongside this category, I also write my opinion as a teacher. When Kame came into my live, she becomes the star of my blog…them came Kroten who steals my heart little by little.

I also write about movies, dorama and anime that I like. I like writing about Dorama more than the other 2, but lately I haven’t watched any good dorama . Right now, I enjoy reviewing books than movies. I wish I had reviewed books since junior high….coz the list will be a lot longer than what I have now. Books also bring me to booking through thursday (a great community of book lover) As for music other than Laruku and Muse, I create another category and I can review concert and Live of my favorite bands/singers. I also write about sport when I feel like doing it.

Other than those above, I write about random things I like to talk about and my activity (mostly about Japanese matsuri).

…so…without realizing it, I have written 499 articles concerning those categories. Tho sometimes I don’t write them, I simply copy-pasted it because I love the article…but it was 1% of all the articles in this lovely blog

Am I content with everything I have written?? YES I AM … sometimes it captured amazing memories (mostly about my students, my turtles and my activities), sometimes it created hatred (only few of them), sometimes it gave information, sometimes it was nothing but babbling, whatever it was it has become a part of my life

I will continue writing and reach my second goal, my 1000th article
