Before I started writing about this marvelous book…i just want to say that -so far – this book is the most exicting book from Stephen King that I’ve ever read. ..but this is simply based on my pointof view and I haven’t read all of his work. I have read Imsonnia, Rose Madder, Bag of Bones, Skeleton Key (short stories), Green Mile (The most touchy ones), and Salem’s Lot. This book makes me adore his works even more.

Some short reviews for this #1 New York Times Best Seller:
“A Marvel…you’re utterly at the mercy of a master storryteller” – Chicago Tribune
“A nerve racking, genualy unsetling thirler, Cell is proof positive that King has tapped into yet another creative well spring” – The Denver Post
“A terriying imagination that will lead us wondering till its end” – Novia Rozet ;p
The Pulse. At first, the story took place in Boston, a graphic artist Clayton Riddell was walking in the peacefull street of Boston, but without warning he watched how the world turn into hell right in front of his eyes. A Women attacked an icecream man, then a man bite of his dog’s ear and a little girl bite the hip of that women…there’s blood everywhere. Clay realized that all of that people started acting crazy right after they used thair Cell-Phone. It seemed that something was wrong with the pulse on October 1st at 3.03 Pm. Clay Accidentaly bumped into Tom McCourt and 15 years old Alice Maxwell, and they strted their little survivor group. Those phone crazies were hiding somewhere whenever night arrive, so they decided to leave Boston by walking everytime the sun goes down.
Malden. Their first destination was Tom’s house in Malden. On their journey, they fopund other survivor but none of them cared about the others, they only cared about their own little group. At Tom’s house, they saw a changging behavior on those Phone Crazies, they weren’t killing each other anymore. They were walking together like some bird flock. This trio decided to look for guns at Tom’s neighbour’s house and they didn’t only find guns but also blood spreading all over the kitchen.
Gaiten Academy. Few days after they left Malden, they found another new behavior of those phone crazies, those people were carrying boomboxes. When they reached Gaiten, they met a smart boy named Jordan and his school’s headmaster named Ardai (but he always called him Head). Jordan and Ardai explained them about the reason behind those phone people behavior. Jordan said that somehow the pulse wiped out their mmories but just like computer, they were rebooting and they wre using the 94% empty spaces in our brain…this thing enabled them to do telephathy instead of using words. Things will got worse if them didn’t do anything. So, this group of five put a propane truck in the middle of the sleeping flock and blew it up. A terrible scream from other flock made clay realized that they had done sothing wrong. A man show up in their dream, Jordan called hin The Raggedy Man, calling them insane in Latin. The phone people through The Raggedy man wanted them to go to a no phone zone at kashwak. And he killed the Head
Fading Roses, This Garden’s Over. Jordan became the member of this trio. They were heading to Kent Pond to find Clay’s wife and son. On the journey they found out that normies (the normal people) hated them for killing that flock. This hatred led to a revenge that killed Alice.
Kent Pond. At his house, Clay found a message from Johny, his son, telling him that his wife had become one of the phone people but johny was able to run away. He found another message in the town hall. Clay deteremined to find his son. They met another flock killer, they are Dan Hatrwick, Denise Link and Ray Huizenga.
What happened in the next four chappters (Phone-Binggo, Worm, Kashwak, Save to System) is something you have to read for yourselves. What I can tell you is…it’s freakin awesome!! I never got bored even for a minute. You’ll find yourself glinch every now and then from some gruesome deaths. King had made an incredible story of modern zombies.
After reading this…no I thing while reading this is more proper…I stsrted thinking what would happen if it really happened? When I was in angkot and nowhere to run? Will the cell-phone will create that pulse oneday? We can not deny the fact that we are letting that radiation close to our brain.
Now…I’m reading another Stephen King’s book called Christine.
