16. Survivor Type
This is one interesting story…gross but interesting. A man who was a surgeon was stranded in a big rock that similar with a small Island, there was no tree at all. The man was determined to survive till someone finds and rescue him. In order for him to survive, he ate everything – literally everything. He cacthed a bird and ate it raw. And the grossest part was when he amputated his leg and ate it. He kept on doing it (amputate and eat it) till he couldn’t do it anymore.
17. Uncle Otto’s Truck
The story was told by a man named Quentin, he had an uncle named Otto. Otto and his partner McCutheon owned a four acres land that spread along castle rock. They loved driving around the land with McCutheon’s red truck. One day, it broke down in a spectacular way. McCutheon decided to build a house near that truck, but not long after that he was killed by the truck. Uncle Otto became obsess with that truck and lived across the street from where the truck laid. He started telling Quentin that the truck was getting closer to him. One day Quentin found him dead in a strange way…there was plenty of oil inside his body.
18. Morning Deliveries (Milkman #1)
19. Big Wheels: The Tale of the Laundry Game (Milkman #2)
These two stories are related, the 1st one is from the side of the milkman, Spike. The 2nd ne is from the side of Rocky, Spike stole his wife away. I don’t really understand the 1st story. The 2nd story isn’t that great either, basically the story is about how fucked up Rocky was and in the end Spike killed him. It is certainly not my favorite story.
20. Gramma
A boy named George was left alone with his Gramma. George was afraid with her since the he was 5. Few years ago, he and his brother, Buddy, heard about Gramma’s book that made her got kick out of crurch. At the night he was left alone with her, he found her dead. In spite of his fear, he tried to cover her up. But something terrible happened when he touch her wrist…she grabbed her and them chased her…even though she had died. She was a witch. George was cornered and somehow Gramma transferred herself into George, or maybe only the evil power was transferred, Stephen King left us to our own conclusion.
21. The Ballad of the Flexible Bullet
The story was told by an editor named Henry. He found a short story that was written by Reg Thorpe, the story was called The Ballad of The Flexible Bullet. It was a story about a person who is going mad. In the process of making that story published, they kept in touch and somehow turned them self mad at the same time even though they were separated miles away. Reg made Henry believed in Fornit (a fairy that gave Fornus – a lucky dust). Reg’s Fornit was Rackne and Henry’s was Bellis. Reg was becoming paranoid of everything (it is related to paranoid chant) and thought that they all were trying to get Rackne. And Henry became paranoid with electricity. In the end, Jane –Reg’s Wife- saw that fornits was real, but she lost her husband at that day.
